Trump On Rove

Donald Trump responded to Karl Rove’s appearance on Fox News yesterday where he said President Obama should not meet with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani at the United Nations this week. Rove said that actions speak louder than words, and after Rouhani has proved his good intentions to the US then the presidents can meet as equals. Trump said that the two presidents should absolutely meet, and gave a stab to Rove saying that “hasn’t done so well.” Rove, a political strategist, tanked in popularity after he insisted on Fox News election night that Romney still had a chance when Obama clearly had won. Trump said, It’s not weak to meet. You know you make deals, I mean, you do things. Now, it doesn’t mean weakness. You have a meeting, it may be good, it may be bad. You should take a very, very hard line, President Obama, extremely hard.”
