Syria Opposition On Both Sides
There are very little times in politics when the far left and the far right of the political spectrum see eye to eye. The libertarians and liberals, however, have found some common ground. These two groups do not want to give any help to Syria. Senator Rand Paul said that he is willing to use a filibuster to stop a vote for force in Syria, and said that he has to “check his shoes.” Senator Marco Rubio, who originally supported force in Syria, is now opposed to authorizing such actions. Representative Justin Amash, who is also against going into Syria, said that he thinks there will be enough support in the House to vote no against this force bill. Amash said, “I don’t think the American people are ready to go to war based on circumstantial evidence.
