Bush On Syria

The media is exploding about Syria, and news stations are turning to the past president’s administration on how they would act. Former President George W. Bush, however, said that he is not going to be ‘roped in’ on the Syria issue. He told Fox & Friends that he is not a fan of the Assad regime, and that President Obama is going to have to make a tough decision. He said if Obama does decide to go into Syria, he will have the best military in the world to accomplish whatever goals he has. When Fox pressed Bush more, trying to get a response on how he would act, Bush responded, “The president has to make a tough call, Brian,” Bush replied. “I know you’re trying to subtly rope me in to the issues of the day. I refuse to be roped in.” Bush did say, however, that putting the US military in harms way is the toughest decision a president will make.
