Republican Senators Focus on Obamacare

Now that the immigration bill has been passed, senators are refocusing on derailing Obamacare. Although ruled constitutional by the Supreme Court, the unpopular ratings from many Americans has Republican senators taking action. Senator Roy Blunt and Senator Lamar Alexander wrote a letter to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) asking for answers on how Obama’s administration seeks to solicit funds for this system. Furthermore, they want transparency for who the administration is seeking as third party entities for funds. The letter was signed by Republican U.S. Senators John Barrasso (Wyo.), John Boozman (Ark.), Richard Burr (N.C.), Saxby Chambliss (Ga.), Dan Coats (Ind.), Thad Cochran (Miss.), Bob Corker (Tenn.), John Cornyn (Texas), Mike Crapo (Idaho), Mike Enzi (Wyo.), Jeff Flake (Ariz.), Chuck Grassley (Iowa), John Hoeven (N.D.), James Inhofe (Okla.), Johnny Isakson (Ga.), Mike Johanns (Neb.), Mark Kirk (Ill.), Ron Johnson (Wis.), Mitch McConnell (Ky.), Rob Portman (Ohio), James Risch (Idaho), Pat Roberts (Kan.), Marco Rubio (Fla.), Tim Scott (S.C.), John Thune (S.D.), and Roger Wicker (Miss.).To read the full text of the letter, please visit http://www.blunt.senate.gov/public/_cache/files/a6f9b16b-78f0-401a-ab73-a46501bfbadb/6%2027%2013%20Letter%20to%20Secretary%20Sebelius.pdf
